Billy is the founder of William Burrows Annuities and provides advice to individual clients and pension schemes on all aspects of annuities and drawdown.
His interest in annuities goes back to 1993 when he helped establish Annuity Direct. In 1997 he set up William Burrows Annuities, and a year later he was asked to join Prudential Annuities as their marketing director for annuities.
After leaving Prudential In 2001 William Burrows Annuities was reestablished , first in partnership with Aspen plc, then in 2007 with MPL Wealth Management.
In July 2009 Billy Burrows jointly set up a partnership with David Cummins called Burrows & Cummins, which together with WBA were incorporated into Directly Financial. David is a Chartered Financial Planner and now runs a financial planning business in kent but he still looks after many clients of WBA who require more in-depth financial planning.
In 2011 William Burrows Annuities started working more closely with The Better Retirement Group (the new name for Directly Financial) and together they are working to offer a specialist retirement service to help consumers make better decisions about their annuity and drawdown options
William Burrows Annuities is now recognised as one of the country's leading annuity advisers and Billy regularly features in the national press and radio.
Duane was a senior consultant with Annuity Direct from 1997 to 2009 where he was responsible on advising clients on all aspects of annuities.
Duane was delighted to be asked to work with Billy Burrows again, and he joined William Burrows Annuities in July 2009, as a senior consultant.
